About Eric Claassen

There are numerous things in life that mystify and confound me. But there are far more things that I am completely ignorant of.

I choose to explore both those things that confound me and those things of which I know little. A vibrant intellectual life consists of working through those things that aren't easy to understand, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of one's knowledge. It is fundamentally good to have a vibrant intellectual life, because this means that intellectual potential is maximized. As humanity's unique lot in the universe is to have an intellectual potential, it seems our unique responsibility to focus on maximizing this potential.

I seek to maximize my intellectual potential, thereby fulfilling the universal human obligation. This website is an artifact of this endeavor. I hope to share my journey with the world to help others on their respective quests.
